Learning outcomes	This curricular unit aims to provide a comprehensive and integrative framework for emotional regulation (ER) in educational contexts and its role in promoting well-being and learning, by deepening knowledge and skills in the field of models, assessment techniques and intervention strategies. At the end of the curricular unit, the student should be able to: - define and explain the main concepts and models in the field of ER; - describe ER across the lifespan; - describe and apply the main ER assessment techniques; - understand the relationship between ER and psychopathology and analyze and promote successful emotional regulation strategies; - understand and apply the main concepts and strategies of ER to learning; - demonstrate ethical and deontological skills; - demonstrate collaborative working skills; - demonstrate skills in the search and use of scientific information.
Syllabus	1. Introduction to emotion regulation: concepts and approaches. 2. Emotion regulation across the lifespan. 3. Methods of assessment of emotion and emotion regulation. 4. Emotion regulation and psychopathology: emotion regulation strategies and intervention. 5. Emotion regulation, well-being and Learning: emotion regulation strategies.
