The curricular unit CCNA2 – Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials aims to develop students’ core competencies in switched networks, routing, and wireless networks. By the end of the course, students should be able to configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, and WLANs, as well as understand and implement static and dynamic routing protocols.
The teaching method combines theoretical sessions with laboratory practice, using simulators and real equipment, ensuring a strong connection between the content and its practical application. The self-learning component, supported by the Cisco NetAcad platform, complements this approach, enabling active, progressive learning that aligns with the course objectives.
