Learning outcomes |
The course aims to provide to students the necessary skills for the use of Geographic Information Systems as a tool to support the management of transportation infrastructures (assets and mobility). The following competencies are transmitted to students: (a) Understanding and identifying particular aspects of asset management and mobility in transportation infrastructures (especially for road/pedestrian/cycling networks). (b) Ability to build a GIS model to support the management of a transportation infrastructure (global organization of the model, database structure, treatment, organization and exploration of data).
