Learning outcomes	The course aims to provide introductory knowledge of the International Legal System, as well as to develop interpretative skills and skills for resolving specific issues in this area. The focus is on studying practical examples of international practice, framed within the current IPR rules. Whenever possible, international case law will be analyzed, as a contribution to assessing the outcome of specific situations.
Syllabus	1. Formation, evolution, foundations, characteristics and framework of IPL; 2. Sources of International Public Law: 2.1. International conventions, in particular; 3. Relationship between IPL and the domestic law of states; 4. Subjects of IPL; 5. Direct and indirect domain of public international law; 6. International responsibility of subjects of public international law; 7. Methods of resolution of international conflicts and use of force by States; 8. International Humanitarian Law.
