Learning outcomes This Curricular Unit (UC)'s main objective is to provide students with the basis for conducting and disseminating scientific research, particularly in the areas of Circular Economy and/or Energy Economics. The specific objectives of the UC are:
- Know and be able to implement the different stages of the scientific research process;
- Properly structure research work;
- Understand and be able to implement scientific writing;
- Instill in students ethical concerns associated with research;
- Communicate research progress in a coherent and clear manner to specialist and non-specialist audiences;
- Develop skills necessary for the presentation and defense of the dissertation.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria This UC is divided into two distinct parts. In the first part, through practical theoretical classes, students will gain knowledge about the scientific process and how to conduct scientific research. In the second part, students will be invited to present progress on their research plans, in open sessions. Students will be invited to interact either through their own presentations or through comments on their colleagues' work.
