Learning outcomes With the dissertation it is expected that the student will be able to prepare a scientific work in the area of Circular Economy and/or Energy Economics, in fulfillment of the requirements for obtaining a master's degree in Circular Economy and Energy. At the end of this Curricular Unit, the student should be able to:
- Apply the knowledge obtained to solve problems in the Circular Economy and/or Energy Economy;
- Use a coherent and critical discourse on various issues related to the Energy Economy and/or Circular Economy;
- Develop innovative scientific research in the area of Energy Economics and/or Circular Economy;
- Communicate conclusions coherently and clearly to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
Syllabus The dissertation topic will be chosen by the student from the list of topics available and their respective supervisors. The dissertation work plan, once approved, defines the objectives and tasks to be developed throughout the academic year. It is up to the supervisor(s) to coordinate and monitor the development of the dissertation, in compliance with what is defined in the work plan.
Main Bibliography The bibliography is specific to each topic.
Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria This curricular unit consists of tutorial support, provided by the supervisor(s), where the student obtains personalized support and directed towards the objectives indicated in the proposed research plan. At the same time, during independent work hours, the student must conduct his or her research.
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
