Learning outcomes |
1. Provide students with knowledge to conduct or participate in an audit in an organization;
2. Provide students with an integrated vision of the various management systems of a company, namely the integration of Quality, Environmental, Hygiene, Health, Safety at Work, Innovation and Social Responsibility, among others, achieved through the approach ISO 14000 and ISO 45001 standards, in a total quality management perspective, through which all stakeholders in an organization (Shareholders, Clients, Employees, Suppliers and Company) are included;
3. To endow the students with competences at the level of the normative requirements for the certification of systems;
4. Encourage the critical spirit and ability to plan, do, perform and act in the implementation of a management system.

Environmental management systems (ISO 14001);

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
This curricular unit lasts for one semester course, with 60 hours of contact with the teacher, 98 hours of autonomous work and 10 hours for evaluation (total: 168 hours). The course is credited with 6 ECTS.
Classes are organized into a theoretical component that includes the exposition of the syllabus, and a theoretical-practical component involving the resolution of practical exercises and the development of practical work in a real context.
