Learning outcomes |
This subject's outcome is to introduce basic mathematical concepts and its applications on the solving of Marketing problems. In the end of this subject the student must be able to solve mathematical problems and to apply mathematical concepts on Marketing problems, namely: to calculate matrix operations and determinants; to solve systems of equations applying several techniques; to analyse graphs of functions; to determine the contradomínio, zeros and sign of functions; to differentiate functions; to solve basic problems of marketing, such as demand, price, total revenue, profit, estimation of results, etc.
