Learning outcomes |
This curricular unit is designed to develop student’s knowledge about quantitative methodologies, enabling them to plan and apply a quantitative research.
At the end of this CU, the student should be able to: 1. Recognize the contribution of different methodological lines to educational research; 2. Understand the nature, characteristics and stages of research; 3. Be acquainted with the main quantitative techniques of data collection and their suitability for specific research questions; 4. Identify the major ethical issues involved in educational research; 5. Develop a quantitative research project; 6. Use SPSS; 7. Analyze in a critical way research articles.
