Learning outcomes |
-In view of the complexity and the multidimensional character of the social phenomena, the students will have knowledge of, and reflect about, the importance and the added values derived from a social intervention that is, in its turn also, multidimensional and transdisciplinar. -
At the conclusion of this course unit, the student should be able to describe and assess the various types of social intervention. He or she should be aware if the value of a multidimensional and transdisciplinary intervention and understand, analyze and use in a critical way theoretical knowledge in new empirical contexts. He or she should show competences of diagnosis and assessment of real contexts, and of adapting solutions to the profile of the needs. He/ she should have a capacity of comparing practices in Portugal with other countries. The other competences to be developed include a critical analysis, autonomous reflection and argumentation capacities.
