Learning outcomes Bearing in mind the objectives of the course of entrepreneurship and social service in its scientific and professional level, this module aims to enable students to understand the processes of leadership and decision making in organizations, while processes of power and social influence.
1.Show understand, implement and evaluate different theoretical and methodological approaches and analysis techniques used in the study of leadership problems, practices and institutions under study;
2.Analyze and discuss the consequences of social intervention, according to leadership styles and the way they affect the institutions, management, the actors’ performance, interests, policies and achieved results;
3.Demonstrate skills of design, organization and implementation of theoretical and empirical works and development of self-learning activities, suitable to their level of training and to their speaking and writing skills.
Syllabus
1. Show understanding of the leadership relationships – decision-making and concepts; theoretical perspectives ; basic methods of analysis of the leadership processes;
2. Implement and evaluate different theoretical and methodological approaches and analysis techniques used in the study of leadership problems, practices and institutions under study ;
3. Analyze and discuss the consequences of social intervention, according to leadership styles and the way they affect the institutions, management, the actors’ performance, interests, policies and achieved results;
4. Develop and discuss collectively arguments which are rational, logical and analytically consistent and sustain their defense;
5. Demonstrate skills of design, organization and implementation of theoretical and empirical works and development of self-learning activities, suitable to their level of training and to their speaking and writing skills.
