Learning outcomes This course aims to study Spanish culture, focusing mainly on their artistic, literary and cinematographic creations. 1. Demonstrate a comprehensive and complex view of Spain past and present days.
2. Show an enlarged view of the fundamental works of Spanish painting.
3. Demonstrate knowledge of the main directors of Spanish cinema.
4. Produce a vision of the Spanish cultural treasures and of the main lines followed by his literature from its origins to the present.
Syllabus 1. The complexity of the Spanish mosaic.
2. The history of Spain: a synthetic view.
3. Monuments, landscapes, celebrations.
4. The splendor of the painting done in Spain: some examples.
5. History of Spanish cinema: the contemporary era.
6. Synoptic view of literature in Spanish, since the middle ages to the present day.
7. A preliminary discussion about scientific research.

This syllabus develops through a series of points that deal with art, cinema and literature in the Spanish culture.
