To know the nanobioengineering approaches involving the use of biological systems in product development at nanoscale. To be able to generate knowledge through scientific research, as well as to analyze and rationalization of the information collected. Understand the application biological processes at nanoscale; Understand the use of controlled delivery systems; Understand the structure and the nano-biological functionalization of biomedical implants and devices. Syllabus |
Textile structures, foams and polymeric membranes for biomedical applications, materials and surgical implants and materials used in engineering replacement tissues. Biodegradable polymers and synthetic polymers used in tissue engineered cellular implants and intra and extra corporeal. Enzymatic biofunctionalization, biological and organic polymers for biomedical applications. Nanomaterials; nanodrugs (encapsulated drugs and cosmetics with pharmacological effects). Polymeric systems, inorganic and organic, drug delivery (dendrimers, cyclodextrins, liposomes, nanoparticles, carbon nanotubes. Nanocoated Systems of drugs; biomimetic biodegradable capsules and delivery systems: nanospheres, nanocapsules, nanoemulsions. Nanorobotics.
