Study of different printing processes.
Students should learn to identify and describe the different techniques and printing processes.
They must learn to apply the CAD systems in the engraving screen printing and rollers.
They can select the most suitable printing processes according to the textile and the desired effect.
Syllabus 1. Preparation of fabric for printing.
2. Application of CAD systems in printing.
3. Printing techniques, printing with flatbed screen, rotary screen, transfer, and digital printing.
4. Rheology and preparation of printing pastes.
5. Printing processes: direct print, discharge print and resist print.
6. Process used to obtain special effects.
7. Ecological aspects of printing.
