Profile of the programme

Roads bellowing to national networks must guarantee adequate traffic conditions. These traffic conditions, translated by the level of service offered to road users, must be determined by applying the latest methodology proposed in the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM7, 2022) of the Transport Research Board (TRB). This training course arises from the need to train technical staff from national road administration, freeway concessionaires, freeways operating conditions managers and road designers, in the application of the latest developments of the HCM methodology. |
