Profile of the programme

The academic and scientific community increasingly tends to use the LaTex typographic system in order to focus more on content and logical distribution of ideas and less on appearance. This course is aimed at adults in the process of updating or reconverting skills at a higher level
and aims to train the student to use the LaTeX typographic system in writing quality scientific texts
Classes are laboratory in a room equipped with computers and are taught in an iterative way where the student follows the procedures presented by the teacher on the computer. |
Key learning outcomes

The course aims to enable the student to use the LaTeX typographic system in writing quality scientific texts
At the end of the course, the student must acquire knowledge and develop skills in order to be able to:
a) knowing how to choose a LaTeX document class;
b) structure and format documents written in LaTeX;
c) include in the text mathematical expressions, symbols, figures, tables and indexes;
d) insert cross-references and bibliographic references;
e) create a presentation of the work
