This course aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of nature-based solutions (NbS) and technologies, which can be applied to water storage, treatment, and reuse in urban areas, contributing to more sustainable cities and more resilient water services. |
Key learning outcomes

1) Understanding the procedures necessary to carry out physical and chemical analyses of water, which allow the characterization of different types of this resource and monitoring its quality.
2) Understanding the design, sizing, operation and maintenance of decentralized solutions for the storage, treatment and reuse of rainwater, grey water and wastewater in urban areas. |
