University of Beira Interior’s master in Multimedia Design offers training based upon the understanding and domain, both conceptual and technical, of the most recent and advanced technologies of the digital era, without forgetting to relate them with the broader context of traditional Design practices.
Therefore, it aims to capacitate the students to the development not only of specialized professional activities in the distinct areas convened by Design, but also in investigation and creative projects.
Built up as an interdisciplinary creative space intended to promote the interchange of ideas and the reflection about the convergence among art, science and technology, this master’s goal is to support and endorse the development of new languages of multimedia communication and the humanization of new media, investing in the creative investigation of new narrative forms through Design and its several interfaces.
