Learning outcomes |
The objectives of this UC are: 1) To develop the skills of doctoral students in communicating science results to peers and to the community in general. 2) To prepare and present an oral communication on a scientific topic. 3) To publish an article in the area of ??health sciences, in a scientific journal with reviewers and impact factor, preferably in the area in which the students are going to do their doctorate.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
Assessment criteria: 1) Presentation to non-specialised audiences (AACL) 2) "My thesis in 3 minute" presentation 3) Oral communication and/or poster presentation at CICS Symposium 4) Published article (AP) 10-14 points – review article in national journal 14-17 points – original research article in national journal 16-20 points - original or review article in international journal. Assessment will also depend on degree of innovation, context, methodological quality, and quality of discussion.
Final mark (CF) for this Curricular Unit will result from the weighted mean: CF = AACL x 0,15 + AMT3M x 0,15 + CO x 0,20 + AP x 0,50
