Learning outcomes The objectives of this UC are:
1) To develop the skills of doctoral students in communicating science results to peers and to the community in general.
2) To prepare and present an oral communication on a scientific topic.
3) To publish an article in the area of ??health sciences, in a scientific journal with reviewers and impact factor, preferably in the area in which the students are going to do their doctorate.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Results Presentation Session Each presentation will have a maximum duration of 5 minutes on a poster. The time will be timed, and compliance or non-compliance will be considered in the evaluation. The evaluation panel for the oral presentation will be composed of the Course Committee, and may also include doctoral members of the FCS, invited for this purpose. Article Publication or Submission This may be a review article or include original material, and must be either published (or prepared for submission) in a Portuguese or international scientific journal with peer reviewers in the field of Health Sciences. The student must be the first author of the publication and, if applicable, mention the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Beira Interior as the primary or secondary affiliation. The publication criteria of the journal in question must be submitted along with the article to be submitted.
