Final elaboration and submission of PhD thesis, and its oral justification in public viva. This curricular unit (Thesis in Medicine 3B) is automatically concluded with approval by the Viva panel of examiners, after presentation and justification of the thesis in a public Viva session.
The final classification of the course is the sum of the different partial assessment, with due ponderation, with Thesis in Medicine curricular units being globally assessed as a result of the public Viva. It is calculated according to the following formula:
(CC*10+PjT*30+MdI*5+BA*5+Op-1*5+Op-2*5+Tese*120)/180 in which: CC = classification of the Scientific Communication curricular unit PJT = classification of the Thesis Project in Medicine curricular unit MdI = classification of the Research Methodologies curricular unit BA = classification of the Applied Biostatistics curricular unit Op-1 = classification of the Rotation / Advanced Course I curricular unit Op-2 = classification of the Rotation
