Learning outcomes |
This curricular unit is designed to integrate theoretical and practical knowledge about cognitive-behavioral intervention models and strategies in Clinical and Health Psychology and to give an overview on different types of intervention in this field. At the end this unit, students should be able to explain cognitive-behavioral theoretical models underlying different psychological disorders; perform a cognitive-behavioral clinical history; identifying, preparing and carrying out interventions which are appropriate for reaching the set goals, using this therapeutic approach; reflect upon ethical principles of psychologists and code of conduct for intervention in Clinical Psychology and Health; critically analyse scientific documents; use self-oriented learning strategies and manage time; use oral and written skills; reflect, self-criticize and make decisions.
