Learning outcomes 1. Know the theoretical and practical models underlying neuropsychological assessment;
2. Characterize the main neuropsychological syndromes and neuropsychological assessment methods;
3. Demonstrate competence in administering, quoting and interpreting the results of neuropsychological tests.
4. Demonstrate the ability to articulate and communicate information obtained from the interview, clinical history and neuropsychological test's results in the context of a neuropsychological report.
5. Understand the complexity of neuropsychological assessment work.
6. Demonstrate competence in planning and implementing neuropsychological rehabilitation techniques.
7. Demonstrate the ability to monitor, articulate and communicate information on intervention outputs.
8. Understand the complexity, potential and limits of intervention work in neuropsychological stimulation and rehabilitation.
9. Know current research topics in this area.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Expository classes with availability of current and representative bibliography of the themes, including studies for the Portuguese population. Training of testing / practical skills in the application, quotation and analysis and interpretation of results, as well as case formulation, based on the realization of a practical work based on a neuropsychological assessment manual / protocol for adults and / or elderly adults to be made available students. Training in planning skills for a neuropsychological stimulation and / or rehabilitation program adapted to clinical conditions. Training of practical skills for implementation, monitoring and integration of information / outputs of cognitive rehabilitation. Tutorial guidance is also foreseen in carrying out these works.
