Learning outcomes |
1. Understand the process of Psychological Evaluation as a distinctive element of the scientific and professional activity of psychologists, of developing a culturally sensitive psychological assessment plan that contributes to the promotion of mental health and well-being (SDG 3); 2. Identify essential technical, psychometric and ethical-deontological issues relating to the use of psychological assessment methods, techniques and instruments, as well as the preparation of psychological reports; 3. Develop skills in the selection and use of Psychological Assessment instruments, with a special focus on instruments measured for the Portuguese population; 4. To analyse, interpret and communicate, scientifically and critically, the results of the psychological assessment process applied to the clinical and health context; 5. Demonstrate the ability to communicate assessment results orally and write psychological reports.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
The learning activities and pedagogical methodologies include theoretical sessions (with exposition and discussion of contents), theoretical-practical (with the resolution of training exercises that focus on the analysis and application of knowledge and skills of psychological assessment), and independent study (with literature review and deepening of knowledge). The continuous evaluation includes a knowledge assessment test and a group assignment with a practical test simulating a session to return psychological assessment results.
