Learning outcomes |
1. Understand the process of Psychological Evaluation as a distinctive element of the scientific and professional activity of psychologists, of developing a culturally sensitive psychological assessment plan that contributes to the promotion of mental health and well-being (SDG 3);
2. Identify essential technical, psychometric and ethical-deontological issues relating to the use of psychological assessment methods, techniques and instruments, as well as the preparation of psychological reports;
3. Develop skills in the selection and use of Psychological Assessment instruments, with a special focus on instruments measured for the Portuguese population;
4. To analyse, interpret and communicate, scientifically and critically, the results of the psychological assessment process applied to the clinical and health context;
5. Demonstrate the ability to communicate assessment results orally and write psychological reports.
