Learning outcomes |
The primary goals of this curricular unit are to acquire and to consolidate knowledge in foundational areas necessary for the research project.
The student-professor contact sessions take place in a tutorial class format, which serve a dual purpose: 1) for the professor to assess the student's academic profile and grasp of core material necessary for research initiation, and 2) to establish a structured work plan focused on a selected mathematical topic deemed fundamental to the student's academic development.
