Learning outcomes |
Understanding Education as an anthropological and political phenomenon requires reflection on its projectual character, closely related in Western societies with the concepts of democratic citizenship and the defense of Human Rights, as well as on the ethical role of the teacher in this field. This learning also requires the development of skills of expression, collaborative work and development of the student’s responsibility. To accomplish these learning objectives, small lectures by the teacher to introduce key contents are followed by analysis of texts, or case studies demanding research and reflection, in small groups and the presentation and debate of results in large group.
