Learning outcomes Develop knowledge and skills about sports training methodologies for the development of training programs, taking into account the specificity of sports, the objectives and the age of the practitioners. At the end of the UC the students should: Understand the importance of the differentiation and the specificity in the training methodology Demonstrate knowledge about evaluation and control of the needs and demands of different sports Develop central knowledge of the training schedule to the scale of a specific intervention according to the characteristics of the sport Demonstrate differentiating knowledge regarding programming and periodization according to certain sports Understand the problem of youth training in its multiple and complex vectors of analysis and intervention

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria The typology of classes this UC is fundamentally theoretical and practical nature. It will choose mainly by oral presentation and interactive (Moodle platform, online surveys). Adopt It will be a methodology of pedagogical-didactic predominant role of discussion based on the theoretical contents and experienced practical problems. Promoting will be wherever possible, knowledge of experiences and practical experiences within the syllabus of theoretical and practical nature, combining exposure to research, discussion and application of the contents in practical work. It is also aims to create a learning environment applied to the sports training problems, so the more theoretical contents will be presented using practical examples and concrete in research in Sports Training. In the evaluation will be carried out a theoretical test, which will be assessed addressed theoretical content related to the need for differentiation / methodological specificity of training and the youth training.
