Learning outcomes - Allows for the connection between concepts between drawing and 2D digital animation, considering the creation of environments through the insertion of objects and characters into the space, using 2D digital drawing and animation software as a means of expression;
- Create environments, objects, and characters in digital graphic representation, using formal manipulation based on the visual exploration of pre-existing formal structures;
- Implement and understand the stages of a 2D digital animation project based on three phases: pre-production, production, and post-production.
Syllabus Individual/group digital animation project:
- Pre-production: Ideas and concepts; exploration of similar projects; synopsis/script; visual research, references, and animation aesthetics; storyboard; concept design; project poster.
- Production: Execution of digital drawing and 2D digital animation; framing, shots, and dramatic intensity; Motion concepts: relative movement, parallax effect, light, atmospheric density, and chromatic variation;
- Post-production: Final editing, sound design, credits; promotional poster; trailer.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria - In classes will be done demonstration exercises of various themes, reinventing environments and objects in perspective, with the application of anamorphism and digital animation, using drawing, photography and digital animation software in the manipulation of pre-existing images;
- Based on the topics covered in class, students will develop the exercises, for assessment, divided into several stages: proposal of a basic topic; research and image collection; elaboration of the concept; sketches, graphic manipulation, digital drawing and digital animation;
- Teamwork in implementing a digital animation project where the following concepts and phases will be applied: elaboration of a narrative synopsis; concept art of characters, scenery and vehicles; elaboration of the classic narrative structure through a story board divided into 8 scenes of dramatic intensity; application in vectorial design of the concept art of characters, vehicles and scenarios; with music and sound application.
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
