Learning outcomes - In the practical work: The supervisor/co-supervisor, or a researcher indicated by the tutor, should accompany the practical work, including the collection and processing of data, discuss methodologies and results, give guidance on bibliographical research as well as being available to clarify the student's doubts.

- When writing the report: The supervisor/co-supervisor should discuss the structure and presentation of the report, as well as clarify doubts about the content. The report template will be made available by the Course Director.

- When preparing the presentation, they should use the template provided and prepare a maximum of 12 slides (including the presentation slide and the final slide) with figures, diagrams, tables and a little text with the following topics: Background/focus of the work, objectives, methodology, results and main conclusions.

2. Preparation of the report and presentation of the practical work carried out over the 12 weeks in the area of Biochemistry.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria In the first part of the teaching-learning activities, students attend lectures on the scientific methodology in research. The second part of the activities takes place in a tutorial environment in which the student develops his project with the accompaniment of a tutor, which allows systematic communication from knowledge to the final writing of the research proposal to be carried out. Tutors also guide students' work in the organizational aspect and in motivating students to participate in seminars that take place at the Health Sciences Research Center at UBI.
