Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria
In this course unit, we have opted for a continuous assessment system based on active participation in classes, through the preparation and oral presentation of short assignments – presentation of research and bibliographic review; presentation of relevant research questions; presentation of the selected methodology and the application of reference standards and bibliographic citation.
The assessment methodology is based on the student's demonstrated ability to articulate theory-method-techniques; articulation of research questions/research object; selection of methodologies and data collection techniques appropriate to the research; ability to analyse, reflect on and critique individual research pre-projects.

The final mark will also be based on the ability to present a written research pre-project. The degree of methodological, logical and linguistic correctness will be taken into account, as well as the choice of topics – 90%. Active participation in classes – (10%).
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
