Learning outcomes - To understand the steps of a process based on quantitative research
- To increase the skills in the construction of quantitative research instruments (questionnaire, its construction and application)
- Understand and interpret the main statistical data used in social sciences analysis
At the end of CU, students should be able to:
- Design a quantitative research project;
- Build and apply quantitative research instruments(questionnaire surveys);
- Recognize and interpret the main statistical data in social sciences
Syllabus CHAPTER I - INTRODUCTION TO QUANTITATIVE METHODOLOGIES
1. Quantitative methodologies and theorising in the social sciences
2. Quantitative expression of the relationship between variables
3. Quantitative analysis techniques and hypothetico-deductive methodologies
3.1 Problem and hypothesis formulation
3.2 Conceptualisation and operationalisation of concepts
