Learning outcomes The main objective of this Course is to enable the student an integrated view of all acquired knowledge, allowing to have at your fingertips all the tools to enter the labor market, both in the scientific area, business or other. The syllabus allow achieve this
Syllabus How to make a good poster; oral presentation and creation of a poster in English based on scientific articles produced at CICS-UBI in 2024; how to organize a scientific event; Employment and Opportunities in Biomedical Sciences Symposium; curriculum vitae (CV Europass and Snapchat; science project for different audiences – set of experiments to be carried out with children from different levels of education; Bioethics – viewing the film GATTACA and writing an essay; updating the Biomedical blog and portal, posting news on the Facebook and Instagram page The Biomedical World; Workshop I - design thinking – idea planning – business workshop – create Company – pitch communication; Workshop II – I finished my master's degree and now? Visit to CICS-UBI; Workshop III – Bibliographic Research; Hackathon – Biomedical World – competition for ideas in the area of digital health/health technologies.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Regarding the UC PCB, the structure and curriculum objectives set promote the vertical and horizontal integration between different areas of science course (1st cycle and the 1st half of 2nd cycle), based on the philosophy of the Faculty of Health Sciences (FCS). The UC PCB aims to promote interdisciplinary training in the different areas / components of knowledge (e.g., entrepreneurship, computer programming, biology, engineering, english, portuguese, design, production, etc ...) intersect and establish bridges, encouraging students skills in working in multidisciplinary teams and allowing greater flexibility in their training. 80% of classes are practical.
Assessment is one of the fundamental components in the teaching-learning process. It allows to evaluate if the objectives have been reached and at the same time to identify problems.
