Learning outcomes |
Nowadays the technologies in which clinical equipments are based are multifaceted. The aim of this course is to provide students a set of skills that enable them to understand the functioning of these devices. At the end of the course the student should have acquired the ability to recognize the technologies used in the operation of clinical equipments, as well as being able to analyze their operation. At the same time it is intended to alert the student to technological details that affect the functioning of this type of equipments. Throughout the course special attention is given to the most important equipments, taking care to explore their working principle.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
(Teaching/Learning and Exams) CF=0.5*TE|EX+0.5*TS CF=0.5*TE|EX+0.5*(0.2*Ap1+0.2*Ap2+0.2*Ap3+0.40*Mo) CF – Final grade; TE|EX – Classification in written tests (arithmetic mean), or in the exam; TS – Classification in the synthesis work; Ap1, Ap2, and Ap3 – Classification in the presentations of the synthesis work; Mo – Classification in the monograph of the synthesis work. Attendance requires attendance at 2/3 of the classes. The minimum grades for passing (in teaching/learning and exams) are: 6 points in each of the tests or exam; 6 points in each of the synthesis work presentations; 9 points in the synthesis work monograph; 9 points in the test average; 9 points in the synthesis work.
