Learning outcomes |
Objectives To provide the epistemological and methodological fundaments of scientific problems of the research process; To develop relevant methodologies and techniques of the research practice; To stimulate an autonomous attitude in conducting the scientific research process; To qualify for the development of support practices in the formulation of a problem with rational and logically argumentation, in the research, systematization and organization of information; To provide oriented instruments to a written and oral communication (structured, clear and consistent). The learning outcomes are: - Intellectual skills, for the epistemological and methodological fundaments of the scientific research process, methodologies and techniques of research and identification of the advantages and disadvantages of its use; - Practical skills, centered in the literature and the state of the art, application of techniques of selection of bibliography and other resources with the analysis and synthesis of concepts, techniques, methods and techniques of research. - Cross-cutting skills, evidencing abilities to conceptualize, organize and develop autonomous research activities.

I. Preliminary and Introductory questions on research in Social Sciences 1.1. Inherent criteria to scientific research to the acquisition of knowledge 1.2. Scientific curiosity, systematic exercise, methodological rigor and ethics 1.3. The rupture(s) with common sense and the pursuit of objectivity 1.4. Strategy as a research resource II.
