Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
The type of UC classes is fundamentally theoretical-practical in nature, with the presentation of the main contents by the teacher in order to promote a debate on the subjects covered - the aim is to create a collaborative learning environment, in which students independently search for information, embodied in bibliography provided, reflect and debate in a classroom environment. The UC assessment has several moments: (1) worksheets (in groups), where students will show the ability to solve problems/practical issues of the syllabus, debating, seeking information and applying the theoretical principles involved - during the 1st semester ; (2) students must research, reflect, substantiate and present group work - December 18th and 19th; (3) written test - November 18th and (4) active participation where students must participate in activities inherent to the U.C., namely participation in colloquiums, seminars and/or lectures - during the 1st semester.
