Learning outcomes Knowing and understanding the specificity of basketball and its organizational structures. Knowing and mastering conceptual specific tools that allow students to apply the knowledge in training and learning situations of the game.
Reveals knowledge and ability to:
- understand and intervene in basketball, including its specificity and characteristics, its history, laws, rules and regulations;
- apply methodological and pedagogical principles for intervention in basketball, especially in the organization, management and evaluation of training and learning processes in basketball and intervention and guidance of basketball players and teams;
- to understand and analyze the macro management of basketball in particular on the role of the basketball industry in social and economic development and their organizational structures.

4) Basketball as a Collective Sport:
- A model of analysis and intervention;
- Phases, Principles and Factors of the game;
- Study and analysis of Football typical situations.
Module II - Training Methods in Football
1) Training Methodology of Basketball:
- Analysis of several training methods and their implications;
- The method: diagnosis - prescription - control;
- Analysis of the game and players in training and competition;
- The laboratory in basketball;
- Planning and programming in basketball.
2) Pedagogy of Basketball:
- Learning the game;
- Construction, development and delivering training / learning sessions;
- Player-coach relationship;
- The coach and the manager.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria The typology of classes in this UC is fundamentally of a theoretical-practical nature, with exposure of the main contents by the teacher in permanent interaction with the students, so the most theoretical contents will be presented in connection and using practical and concrete examples within the scope of the modality , basketball. Priority will be given to the presentation and discussion of the contents covered (using tools such as videos, platforms for discussion of themes, databases with articles / information relevant to the contents covered, and concrete examples of application), encouraging student participation. , with the promotion of debate and reflection by them. An exploratory teaching-learning process will also be sought, with analysis and reflection of the supporting bibliography of the various contents covered. In addition to the above, there will be classes that will have a large component of pedagogical practice.
