Learning outcomes |
Knowing and understanding the specificity of winter sports. Developing skills for the training and learning of the Alpine skiing in the context of initiation considering the different stages of sports education.
Reveals knowledge and ability to:
1) understand and intervene in winter sports, particularly in Alpine skiing, including its specificity and characteristics, its history, laws, rules and regulations;
2) apply methodological and pedagogical principles for intervention in in winter sports, particularly in Alpine skiing, especially in the organization, management, intervening and evaluation of training and learning processes in Alpine skiing considering the different stages of learning and training.

Module I - Alpine Skiing Material
1) Historical background and characterization.
2) Technical material of alpine skiing: skis; boots; anchorages; Bats.
3) Maintenance and repair of technical equipment.
4) Technical clothing and protection equipment.
Module II - Safety in Winter Sports
1) Security on track.
2) Intervention in accidents on the track.
Module III - Alpine Skiing Technique
1) Alpine skiing main aspects of the technique.
2) Fundamentals of Alpine skiing technique.
3) Basic technical gestures.
4) Alpine skiing fundamental tactical actions

Module IV - Alpine Skiing Teaching Methodology
1) Methodological Principles of Teaching Alpine Skiing:
