Advanced use of word processing tools (image wrapping, headers and footers, page and section breaks, styles, indexes, cross-references, tables, review tools, document comparison, and mail merge); 2. Basic, intermediate, and advanced use of spreadsheet tools (basic Excel, navigation, paste special, alignment, relative and absolute references, data validation, conditional formatting, functions IF, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDIRECT, AND, OR, XOR, VALUE, SUMPRODUCT, descriptive statistics, array operations, number formatting, names, dynamic lists, cell/sheet/workbook protection, number rounding, text functions, conditional functions, random number generation, sorting functions, basic and advanced sorting and filtering tools, pivot tables, printing, solver and goal seek, charts).

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
All sessions are held in the laboratory which facilitates the acquisition of the skills. The application to new situations facilitates the consolidation of skills which are evaluated in tests performed in the laboratory, as well. A global project, when available, allows the student to develop creative solutions and independent research skills expanding their knowledge.
