Learning outcomes - Identify criteria for evaluating investment projects;
- Analyze and select, mutually exclusive investment projects
- Identify alternative sources of financing of a project
investment.
- Determine the cost of capital investment.
- To provide students, basic skills on risk analysis, and risk estimation methods for incorporating risk analysis, and evaluation of investment projects.
- Develop the capacity of critical and creative of students.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria The classes are Theoretical - Practical based on: i) the explanation of the concepts of analysis and evaluation of investment projects, criteria for evaluating investment projects, analysis and risk assessment of investment projects, analysis of real options, based on slides and the use of practical examples and / or scientific papers, seeking student participation, ii) the resolution of case studies on the analysis and evaluation of investment projects, discussion and analysis of scientific articles guiding students to the development of a scientific research work. Methods of assessment:  2 individual written tests with the following weights in the final grade (50%/50%), in 09/11 e 13/12.
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
