Learning outcomes Introduction to human resources management in the administrative and strategic components.
Deepening people management in all its components and learning about the individual and group dimensions.
Identification of communication needs and sources of conflict, defining and implementing of global strategies.
Identification of structural factors that affect the performance of organizations and preparation of action plans.
Encourage research on organizational behavior topics, taking into account present and future trends in this field of investigation.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria The classes are theoretical-practical, constituted by a part with theoretical exposition by the teacher with recourse to the Powerpoint; another part with exposure, analysis and discussion of scientific articles or practical cases (previously delivered to students); finally, questions are presented to be solved by the students. The practical cases can also be solved and delivered via email to the teacher.
Rating criteria:
- A written test (60%).
- Individual practical cases and quality of class participation (10%)
- Group work (30%).
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
