Learning outcomes GENERAL GOAL
- The main general goal of the Unit is to contribute to the development of spatial reasoning and vision, through a graphic and technical language of representation for the built space, both real and imaginary.

SPECIFIC GOALS
- The main specific goal of the Unit is to train students to conceive and represent the architectural project and the respective physical space.
- In addition, the Unit intends to foster the sensitivity and imagination for the composition of the architectural space, endowing the students, at the same time, with the tools of exact representation of geometric base, along with the technical drafting of the volumetric relations in the forms to be communicated.
Syllabus 1. PROJECTION OF EQUAL ELEVATION POINTS
- Notions of topography.
- Applications and specificities of the equal elevation points projection system.
- Representation of roofs.

2. REPRESENTATION OF ARCHITECTURAL PROJECTS
- Notions of representation in plan, section and elevation.
- Notions of representation of architectural elements.
- Notions of representation according to the international standardization systems.
- Notions of representation of the architectural project and the articulation with the engineering projects.

3. PERSPECTIVE
- The central projection, concepts and systems.
- The position of the observer before the space.
- The influence of light on the reading of the architectural space.
- Drawing perspectives with one, two or three vanishing points.
