Learning outcomes The aim of this course is for students to understand the importance of logistics, both from a macroeconomic and business perspective, and to be able to identify tools to support decision-making in a logistics context. In particular, the student should know the reality of logistics in contemporary organizations, as well as its contribution to the growing trend of e-commerce. Students should also be aware of the importance of proper supply chain management in meeting logistics objectives and consequently providing a service that creates value for the customer and is also profitable for the company. Finally, students should be able to recognize logistics issues and options in the context of managing information systems, transport and storage. In terms of specific skills, students should understand the importance of logistics for the development of the country and companies.
