Learning outcomes	TTo make an overall historical and systematic view of the study of signs; To provide students with abilities for the several kinds of semiotic analysis; To identify the origins of semiotics; To distinguish and classify the signs: To manage methods of semiotic analysis.; To distinguish syntax, semantics and pragmatics in the use of signs; To be able to process information and to transmit it according to contexts of enunciation; To be able to apply acquired knowledge about signs of communication in everyday situations

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria	Exposure by the teacher. Availability of bibliographic and electronic resources. From the exposed contents, set a definition of tasks to be done by students, individually or in groups. Presentation of the results and discussion about the skills acquired. The following elements are considered as part of an ongoing evaluation:Two written tests of theoretical resolution and semiotic analysis
