1. The roots and context of Contemporary Thought;
2. Main metaphysical, epistemological, ethical and political proposals: - From the critique of Metaphysics: the problem of the death of God; - the proposal for a critical metaphysics; - the paradox of incomprehensible freedom; - nihilism, truth-utility, will to power and perspectivism; - alterity, strangeness and otherness; critique of onto-theology; - the age of emptiness, the information age, economic globalization, and populism in the empire of the ephemeral: the time of a world-culture; the commodification of art; the aestheticization of politics

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
1. Critical summary of a class - 50% of the final grade; about the sessions to date. It will take place on May 15, 2020. 2. Delivery of a work project: first version until April 17, 2020; delivery of a second version of the work project until May 8, 2020; worth 10% of the final grade; 3. Final semester work - 40% of the final grade. The delivery should take place on May 22, 2020.
