Learning outcomes The general aim of this course is to develop introductory knowledge of the subject of social psychology.

At the end of this course, students should be able to:
- Define the field of study of Social Psychology and understand its terminology;
- Understand the methodologies used in the construction of knowledge in Social Psychology;
- Explain how we interpret people's behaviour, including our own;
- Describe the processes of social cognition and identify the most common errors;
- Define attitude and its components;
- Know the process of attitude formation;
- Explain the relationship between attitudes and behaviour
- Know the social influence processes of conformity and obedience, identifying conditions that facilitate and inhibit these processes.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Considering the learning objectives and competences to be developed, two individual tests of theoretical knowledge are planned. The average of the results obtained in the two tests will determine the 60 percent mark for the course.
Group work will also be carried out, with a weighting of 25%.
Theoretical-practical activities will also be carried out, with a weighting of 15%.
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
