Learning outcomes Objectives:To familiarize students with the systemic approach and the application of its principles to the family system and to promote knowledge around the concept of family and the process of family development. At the end of the course, students should be able to:
. Identify the main assumptions of the systemic approach and know the foudations of Family Psychology; Know how to apply the principles of the systemic approach to the understanding of family functioning; Describe the stages of the family's life cycle and identify different tasks, difficulties and associated problems; Understand the concept of family diversity and frame the family development approach to different family realities and configurations; Analyze and critically reflect on the current challenges that families face in a changing world; Reflect on ethical responsibilities in working with families; Research, analyze and integrate scientific literature in the field of Family Psychology.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Teaching methods include the use of theoretical explanations and/or practical examples to introduce fundamental concepts and lay the groundwork for subsequent learning; the use of methodologies for both individual and group analysis of different materials, including theoretical-practical and practical cases, to foster debate in the classroom. Discussions, activities, group presentations, and dynamization of previously studied subjects arel examples of flipped learning methodologies used.

Evaluation methods include group assignments and evaluation tests.
