Learning outcomes This curricular unit aims to promote the acquisition of knowledge about the main models of understanding psychopathological changes, recognizing the reciprocal influences of biological, psychological, and social factors. It also aims to develop knowledge that allows the identification and characterization of the most frequent psychopathological disorders in children and
At the end of this curricular unit, students are expected to demonstrate knowledge about the models of understanding psychopathological changes from an integrative and multidimensional perspective; to know the main diagnostic classification systems and critically reflect on them; to identify and characterize the most frequent psychological disorders in children and adolescents; to reflect on the ethical and deontological implications of identifying and classifying psychological disorders; and to demonstrate the ability to communicate ideas, problems, and solutions.
