Learning outcomes |
This curricular unit aims to provide an introduction to Models and Methods of Psychological Intervention. It intends to establish a greater understanding of the main theoretical paradigms and methods underlying behavioral, cognitive and constructivist therapies. At the end of this curricular unit, student should be able to: (1)Describe and explain behaviorist, cognitive and constructivist paradigms; (2)Demonstrate knowledge about the application of their theoretical assumptions to psychological intervention; (3)Identify the major therapeutic methods underlying the models studied; (4) Analyse and synthesise relevant scientific evidence, integrating it into the understanding and application of the theoretical models addressed. (5) Communicate ideas, problems and solutions, resulting from the activities of analysis, synthesis and reflection carried out individually and in group.
