Learning outcomes |
Introduction to electrical and magnetic phenomena. Understanding of the fundamentals of electricity and magnetism. At the end of this CU the student must be able to apply the knowledge acquired in solving typical problems and in real situations in his area of knowledge, as well as mathematically equating problems involving electrical and magnetic interactions, combining the knowledge acquired with contents of the mathematics disciplines.

Electric force. Electric field. Electric potential and electric potential energy. Electric current. Simple electric circuits. Magnetic fields. Magnetic force and applications. Sources of magnetic field. Electromagnetic induction and applications. Introduction to Maxwell equations andn electromagnetic waves.

Two wiritten test during semester, with final average mark of 9,5 score, means dissmis of final examination.Minimal mark of 4,0 score for final exam admission. 50% regular assistance to lectures required.
